Thanks Bill,
www.toulsource.com <http://www.toulsource.com/> had a 5 mm kit for $26 so I
went with it.
Thanks All,
Jim

Jim:
Back when I was building racing engines for Drag Boats and Cars, I bought
complete HeliCoil kits. The kit came with all the necessary specialty
stuff, tools etc. and the Major Thing: A custom tap that was the proper
size/thread for the OUTSIDE of the HeliCoil. This is absolutely essential.
It is then possible to go back to the store and replenish the kit, if
necessary, with more HeliCoils.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Heli coils
Hi Guys,
I have two header bolts partially stripped in a 3W 150. The standard bolt
is 5mm. Where is the best source for heli coils? Also, it looks like there
is an installation tool required. Is it better to get a "kit" or try to get
only the exact tools??? Anyway, asking for a little education on this topic
:-)
Thanks,
Jim W.
