Mike,
there's a long held belief that Pattern dudes and dudettes are a
superstitious lot. The quickest way to your model's demise is a photo session just
before it's maiden voyage.
Of course its rubbashe' but, well... the results sorta speak for themselves.
No pics and plenty of models flyin'. Right?? Nah, I still think its
unadulterated Bovine Skat

Oh man, I'd LOVE that!!!!!
Trouble is, most people won't even send in a pic, much less a full "review"
so to speak. I actually had that idea recently and solicited a few from
people that are "known writers" so to speak. I'd love to have sort of a plane of
the month kinda thing.
I could start with the Black Magic, but really I'd rather someone else do
that plane. I'm sorta biased, especially right now =) . But I'm looking for all
flavors, scratch built to RTF and everything in between. I think we're all
interested in this, no?
However, and listen up: I'd love to get very complete reviews and pics of
the following planes:
-Oxai Pinnacle
-Genesis
-Brio
-Symphony
-Insight
-Agressor
-Black Magic
-Astral (newest version)
And of course, ANY other "current" and cutting edge design. I would love to
have high res detailed pics, how it goes together, and most importantly,
DETAILS on how it flies. I want to know pros AND cons. NO plane is perfect, so
don't try it =P Now most things are a balance and can be dealt with by a little
shifting of CG, tweaking throws and incidence etc. We want to know all of
that stuff.
So, if anybody has something like this, I'm ready to include it in this
issue. if not, then I WILL start it next issue.
Any takers? Troy, Mark, Don? Anybody?
Maybe we can do something for people who go out of thier way to do this?
-Mike
