They usually offer unofficial testing before the event starts. Also, as I recall, you have to be a candidate for a trophy or a finalist to be tested...

  Having never been to the Nats and not having the equipment at the club to measure noise, I am a little concerned about the noise level of my plane.  Now I am running an OS140RX with a full lenght OS header and a Bolly 480 muffler.  I does not seem very loud, but how would I know.
