I didnt mean to imply that you cant 2 or 3C charge, I have been doing it 
on 3s 2100's from charge #1 (mostly 2C rate) :)  Definately fast!  I am 
just not convinced yet that there is no damage to the packs from doing 
it!  I only have 15 cycles on them though so it will be a while yet 
before I know.  I am now comfortable in leaving the packs over the 
winter, which in our climate is an important piece of info as most will 
be forced into that situation :)  Those of you in the south are lucky! :)

I have my packs all wired up permanently as 10s packs, so >1C charging 
is not an option unless I rewire the packs.  At a contest I agree you 
dont need that many packs to get through the rounds easily...provided 
you remember to charge them lol.  For me I really hate charging at the 
field, and often I dont have time to do it anyways....so I went the lots 
of packs route.  Hopefully they hold up well over time.
