[NSRCA-discussion] OTOP?

Oh yeah, their idea of where the CG ought to be is too far back IMO. I think it is because they also tout the OTOP as a 3D airplane if you buy the other set of wings/stabs.

Had one, flew about 60 or 70 flights. It's a good bird, wasn't exactly to my liking. It's a little more slippery downhill than I like and also needs to fly a little faster than I like during point rolls, slow rolls. I like to keep the fuselage angles low, personal preference I guess. It's also slightly undersize, which was a slight disadvantage for me anyway.

It is constructed very well, beats the quality of CA products IMO. Goes together very quickly. Doesn't have wing or stab adjusters out of the box and I would suggest that you add them. The stab is on a CF tube with pins, which in my case, were badly misaligned. Fixed that, it flew fine. Tracks well, does great snaps, very sure in stopping. Spins well too.

    Anyone flying one?

    Cheers?

    Jeers?

Price is attractive. Even if it isn't quite a 2x2

BVMPROPS is selling them. I talked to David Shulman this AM and he hasn't flown one yet.
