I can see the day when all pattern planes will have to carry a telemetry package for the Nats! Now that I think of it, it might be a good practice aid, but it would then change the airframe characteristics.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] SNAP ROLLS
Hey Nat,
Will anyone ever come up with a solution to doing a snap roll I mean there are so many perspectives of snap rolls from different people. Like the other day I was flying my Fontana 90 and I did a true snap roll and the other man told me that wasn't a snap roll. Now I no it was but we have screwed up left field when it comes to snap rolls as you were saying. And I believe there will never be a solution. Because even the Judging book for pattern contest or different from other peoples perspective on snap rolls. All I no is that you finally settle with one way to do it. And suddenly you get to the contest and go out there and do what you think is a snap roll and you get tremendously downgraded. Because it is not how the rule book says it. But someone send me a good info about how to do a snap roll the right way. >From the Judges handbook.
Matt
