That's a good question.  I have heard mostly no.  I have heard one instance that the seals swelled, and caused binding.  But this is the same bearing that goes into the fuel injected version of the 140, so I am trying it with the seals on.

I haven't replaced the bearings in my OS yet---
Just for confirmation, the rubber seals should be removed before installation?

not in stock. Until today, I was not entirely sure if these would be the
correct bearings, but they are. They are the rear stainless bearings for

I purchased two NTN 6904LLU bearings at ToolBarn.com for $10.67 each, total
of $25.89 delivered for both. These are the same bearings that Tower
Hobbies sells for the OS 140 RX-EFI at $25.99 each. They are sealed
bearings with orange rubber seals.
