Yep, what he said about Aerofly, ditto!. Haven't tried the Reflex, but it's hard to go wrong with the Aerofly Pro deluxe.

I have tried all three and the one I liked the least was real flight G3. I sold it before the photo realistic sceneries came out.

The physics and flyability just didn't seem right.

I have both Aerofly pro deluxe and reflex XTR. Both are good although I usually use aeofly. For pattern I usually fly one of the large IMAC style planes. Although it comes with a model of the smargd , I would only rate it 7/10 as far a s a pattern plane goes. I am sure some have been able to tweak the settings to improve flyability but I have not been able to get it the way I would like.

Both XTR and areofly have lots of free downloads from the net. Both scenery and planes. With G3 you have to buy an add on pack.

If anyone has a good pattern setup for relex or aerofly please consider sharing it J

  Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Simulators

  Hello all

I'm looking for opinions on Flight simulators for practise/learning new manoeuvres/teaching beginners etc.

Which is prefered - Aerofly or Great planes?

What's the difference between the Aerofly pro and the Deluxe version? Does the pro have a pattern plane as a choice? Is the deluxe worth the extra $ ?

Can the pro be used with the older, round plug, Futaba radios?

  Appreciate all inputs.

  Best Regards

  Colin.
