Adrian,

I had a similar seepage issue with a DZ140. I discovered the wrist pin
access plug, item #83 on the DZ160 parts list was not seated properly.

Just another item to check if you hadn't already done so.

Take care,

Glen

Subject: Re: [NSRCA-discussion] Fuel leak

Merry X'Mas to all.

I have a 160 DZ suddenly developed a fuel leak on the back of the engine
between the back plate, the carburetor, and the carburetor body. Originally,
I thought it might be the gaskets. I installed all three new gaskets and the
problem persited. I put it on an engine stand this afternoon, and noticed
raw fuel was pouring out from the back plate and the throttle body as soon
as the engine started to run.

Is there any chances I can put something backwards that can cause the
problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Adrian
