Its not hard, if you can find the Impact thread on RCU its got pictures of my vinyl covered Impact on it. Use a cad program if you have access and draw a pattern and take the files to a sign shop in PDF format. Layout the wings and fuse and make something you like. Dont cover really wide sections w/ a solid color. Stay away from very narrow sharp points since thats most likely to lift. Compound curves are tough and you need to do them in a couple of pieces, like the area between the canopy and nose on most current plaes.
I have had vinyl on my Impact for going on 2 years, its still stuck solid except two very pointy spots. 30% nitro is ok as long as you dont soak it in it, if you do it will restick when the fuel evaporates.
For me a great alternative to paint since I dont like to paint.
