[NSRCA-discussion] USA team trials

Some of the intent of combining the events is to:
1- Make it affordable for the unsponsored pilot to compete in both the team
trials and the Nats.
2- Make it affordable for the spectators to see it all in one trip.
3- Get a higher attendance level for both segments.Without the combining,
many top rated pilots skip the Nats.
4- Provide a better judge pool for both functions.

Scheduling the evening functions remains a problem as along as the Masters
and Intermediate/Advanced groups are following a different format.

If you eliminate the sponsors and the sponsored you don't have enough bodies
to run either event. The CD has less opportunity to affect the outcome than
the individual judges.

It is likely that if the parties directly affected by the combination object
to the practice they can split off in the future. Holding the World's in the
Southern Hemisphere prompted early Team Selection this cycle. It would be
difficult to do it separately on this cycle.

We are all in agreement that the Team Selection and the Nats should not be
compromised in any way.
Bringing problems and solutions to the surface will lead to the best
possible events.
