Different strokes for different folks. I couldn't get the Perry setup to work right.

Tried Iron Bay, and the check valve failed before the first flight! Got another check valve, and had inconsistent runs. Tried a Cline regulator, and had inconsistent runs on two different airplanes. Finally went with the Perry Pump, and have never had an issue on four airplanes with three different engines, two OS 1.60s and an ST 90. I usually start the engine, cold, with one backflip!

I never really had a solid motor run with the Perry Pump. To each his own.

I recently converted my 2-stroke 1.60 OS from a "pump" setup to a pressurized tank/regulator ..... WOW! Thanks to Arch Stafford, I'm now using the Iron Bay regulator and it really solved a lot of problems. Check it out - finally got this thing working as advertised. http://www.ironbaymodelcompany.com/Webpages/Accessories/Accessories.html
Thanks, Arch!!
