Ok, I agree the 23% nitro is not necessary; been running YS engines for a long time. I'll look into the MACs headers and other prop sizes.

Bob:
I know that Macs has header with different rises than the OS. I have a 2 1/4" rise header that I got from them that I run in my Eclipse (s). Just my opinion, but I think the 23% nitro is not necessary at all. I would not expect anything as far as better performance over 15%. Also, the 17-13 might be more load than it likes, especially when it is new and you are trying break in the motor. I thought the 17-12 was the best 2 blade prop, or a 15 3/4 - 10 or 11 3 blade APC "Lockhart" for an awesome combination.
Also - check out Ed Hartley's web site for lots of other OS pipe - prop etc combos

I would like some advise for installing a header and pipe in a Focus II. I have the OS 1.4 RX engine, the OS 72102100 Header and the OS T-6010 Tuned Silencer. My problem is that the header has interference with the firewall. I don't really want to remove material from the firewall to gain clearance. Is there another header that I could use? My other question is if the OS Tuned Silencer is the best choice? I also would like to know what the length should be if the tuned silencer is used. I am planning to use an APC 17 X 13 prop and Magnum # 1 2 cycle fuel (approx 23% nitro). All suggestions are welcome.
