  Yes I think that is what has happened. How old is the TX and when did it last have the internal lithium batt changed. They usually last about 5 yrs but I have seen them go in less. I have it changed every other season.

  I send my radios in every year for a checkup and every other time in I have them change the lithium batt. Its really cheap and they are already in the TX looking it over.

    Has anyone out there ever seen a "memory error" message on the screen of an 8103 JR transmitter? I am guessing the internal SRAM has a battery backup and it went flat. All of the setups in the model memory went to the default.
