bending an aluminum header

Chris, I bolt the header tightly to a heavy 5/32" aluminum plate ( road 
sign ) held in the vise. Heat  with a Monocote gun and bend. Does not have 
to be too hot.Use a wood dowell for leverage. Have not had any problems with 
Mueller's headers.     Nat
