So in other words we shouldn't hold our breath for the next item you think
is "ideal" for RC :)

Good to know that the super radio you just bought this year is already
outdated :)

We shouldn't talk about selecting or operating on a frequency.  By
definition, Spread Spectrum uses a wide band of frequencies.  Typically
these frequencies are spread over the total band being used and every
channel, if you will, uses the whole band of frequencies.  Each system will
transmit and receive its own code which is encoded on top of the information
modulation which will probably still be PCM.  We will soon be bragging about
who has the highest "chirping" frequency.
I think I first said it in 1979, it is the ideal technology for RC.
