Good to hear from you, Buddy. We've all become so reliant on internet to keep in touch that I've had a hard time finding out how everyone is doing. We all know Port Arthur and Beaumont were hardest hit.

I plan on attending, but with only a couple of flights since the Dallas contest I don't think I'll be "going after" anyone!

I do look forward to enjoying everyone's company though ;-)

Hey guys … just curious who all is going to make the Sparks contest in Oct. in Houston.

I haven’t heard too much lately but know that I am eager to fly again and give Jim a run for him money.

Wayne, are you gonna get Keith to setup with you and go after Mr Hunt?

Lance.. nederland guys… hope everyone remembered to pencil this one in

I don't know at this time if I will Be there the Nederland bunch is pretty scattered now because of Rita.I havent heard from anyone excapt Perry Sumral since the storm .
I know there is not very much news of our area on the national news but we were hit as bad or worse than New Orleans we just dont have the flooding issues It will be about two months before full power is restored here the National Guard is here and the infrastructure is in shambles most people that have returned are eating MRE's provided by FEMA and the Church groups who have done much more than the Government to provide basic needs of those returning. My house was Ok with only minor damage but most of my Oak trees are gone. I went to the flying field today to survey the damage and found much of it destroyed even the Mat runway is gone. Much depends on the progress made in the next week and if I can I will be there OH All of my airplanes survived. Later
