Growing pattern

Jim:
A little off subject I know, inasmuch as I'm talking about passive as
opposed to active but, here goes:
The frustrating thing to me is that good, modern, progressive filming
techniques are available. They are practiced by those folks who are computer
literate, by using PowerPoint as the platform. It is then shown via
individual computers or the PP projector. (Pricey, I understand.) But, the
technology and know-how is available; I've seen it at IMAC judging sessions
and on Bob Pastorello's web site. Our film, while state of the art when
made, is badly outdated now. Has anybody else been to an IMAC judging
school, and seen the PP stuff?  I believe that Roy Barrow had a hand in it;
(he's a computer guru, has his own ISP company, etc.) But, Bob Pastorello
who is an accomplished computer person, has shown that it's doable.
