This note from Steve caught me a little by surprise. Like Earl I tend to think that there is a competitive spirit in all of us that responds to new challenges. The phraseology that I chose was in the framework of a picture that I was painting to get you all to think about the lack of opportunity that we in FAI have to fly the F-series schedules, even if we wanted to.

As regards any FAI feelings that Steve thinks that I have hurt. If he is correct then one is too many. My sincere apologies to anyone who was offended.

Regards,

Eric.

Your quote "Lets face it you either are an FAI pilot or you are not. Just flying P-07 next year is like being half an FAI pilot!!!!. " seems you was insulting, I'd guess 2/3 of the FAI pilots, not very politically correct if you ask me.
Your one that is in a high office and should think of other's feelings, for example you could have taken a poll instead of telling people they are half a pilot.
Way to much said at this time, Discussion complete.

Instead of trying to discourage people from flying FAI you should trying to encourage it , all local contest that I have seen have many more Masters flyers than FAI, very unbalanced.
If your intent was to make some of us feel bad about flying FAI congratulations you have succeeded.
Hasn't it been voted on many times that the masters want there own schedule not the P pattern.
You stated that most FAI pilots only fly P , then in your next sentence you say then we're not FAI if we don't fly both.
If you think this is how you GROW PATTERN you are really missing the boat.
Your arrogance is appalling.
