Engine Thrust 0/0

When Chip was putting that thing together, at the Nats, I was
somewhat astonished at what I was observing regarding engine offset
and I commented, "Hey Chip, that thing looks like it has up-thrust
in it!". To which he replied, "Of course it has up-thrust, ALL my
planes have up-thrust in them and I have been using up-thrust in all
my planes since 1988". We also know that he has been espousing the
elimination of right thrust via the contention that it pulls a
straighter corner when pulling out of long down lines(I think that's
what he said). I have some questions regarding this as I would think
that power would still be at or pretty close to idle with little
affect on heading when making these inputs. And then there is the
question of what does he do on up-lines that require right thrust?
Maybe it comes down to where do you feel most comfortable inputting
the necessary rudder corrections. Hmmmm,..........
