The actual idea is that if everyone posted to say the RCU pattern forum.
Which is...
1: Free to anyone
2: Highly redundant, and fast. (Lots of $$$ to keep up a system like that
not to speak of the bandwidth costs)
3: Much more flexible, allows pictures of build processes, engine rebuilds,
nose ring installs, ect.....
4: 10,000 times more exposure to everyday RC enthusiasts. RCU just hit
there 200,000 member mark.
5: Search function in pattern only board or entire site
6: Did I mention a valuable resource free for us to use?
I am not saying the mail list has to go away. It cost little to nothing to
run and manage. It only takes my time to keep bad email address cleaned up
and to delete 20,30, 50 rejected emails a day.
Now as a pattern nut, if someone said to me, Hey here you go use this tool
for free. Its easier to use, much more versatile, and will help you spread
the word on how pattern can benefit other RC nuts. What do I say??? Naaaa,
my old tool has worked for years, If I look sideways at it while standing on
my head, it looks almost like your tool!
Not me I say how can we best use this tool to better our part of the sport.
What if all the good discussions that have happened and will happen on this
list were put where 200,000 people had easy access to them?
Bob I hope this helps you understand my point of view.

I'd sure like to know what you find concerning."Pattern" on RCU or RCG. In
the Pattern forums on RCU there are agonizingly few each day.
