AeroFly sim transmitter?

I have a Smaragd that I've shared with a few guys here.  If you like, I can send you the zip file to create the folder.  It's pretty highly-tweaked from the stock version to fly much more like a real pattern airplane.

  Got my s/w today and installed it.  Very nice, and besides the Smaragd there's helis, jets, etc.  It's like getting the GP with the add-on packs.  I understand you can even download planes designed by others or design your own. More than I need now.

  My question is how to best set it up for pattern practice. I think I heard that box markers can be set.  Also, I haven't found a view that gives me the pilots box perspective so I can actually fly parallel to the flight line and in the box.  Any suggestions?

    Lance, I just got Aerofly Pro myself and have been using an older Futabe 7UAP with no RF module in it for the TX.  Battery lasts forever without an RF load on it.  Works great and I am not wearing out my 'good' TX.  I am impressed by the 'feel' of Aerofly Pro compared to the older Realflight G2.  Have also tried the Realflight G3 and my vote goes for AFP.  The included Smaradg feels real good, actually snaps and spins and the out of the box setup is pretty close.  I increased the down elev throw a little and also bumped the rudder a little and that is all.
