I thought the whole purpose of the whole string/ worm/ water thing was to 

            Hang out w/ or w/o friends

            Sample the current favorite beverage. repeatedly

            Get away from her..errrr.. it all for awhile. 

 

Who said anything about catching fish???

I like to compare it to fishing.  You could get a cane pole, some line, a
hook, dig some worms.......head to the river.  Or, you can get a $25k bass
boat and everything in between.  The point of the exercise
remains........catch a fish.
