Futaba 8UAF Mode 3 Programming Glitch?

Thank you all for your input everything works fine right now.  Just have to
learn to fly mod 4 after 20 odd years of mode 2.  I have been pracicing on
G2 and now will fly an old beat up Gremlin for real.

Is there documentation out there which better describes the features and
programming of Futaba and other types of radio.  There was only 1 mention of
modes in the manual.  IMHO the manual sucks.
