What you said is, in fact, the proposal. Please re-read it.

Wouldn't it be easier to let the flier elect what district he wanted to be in rather than redraw the lines?

    Subject: KF Redistricting Proposal

The March KF contains a proposal for a way to handle district borders and pilot district affiliations. The board of directors really wants some feedback from the membership on this proposal so we've taken the unconventional approach to publish this with a mail-in coupon, an email address, and my phone # to give everyone a preferred way to supply their feedback. The intent is to accept or reject this proposal so that the ruling goes into effect for this season. This is why we are soliciting input now and not waiting for the upcoming general survey.

Your input is desired. I'm sending this message to the list because the KF arrived a bit later than we expected and the published cut off date for feedback of 4/1 now seems pinched because March KFs are just now arriving at people's homes. We need to drum up the desire to respond asap. I think we should let the votes come in until at least 4/15 and then decide. This list is the only way to get the word out that the deadline is being extended. Please review the online KF or your home KF and send your feedback. There are some pilots anxiously awaiting a ruling and the more feedback we get, the better the BOD represents the membership.

    Thanks,
