I'm using an FMA FS8 receiver this year in my new plane. The FS8 has a lot
of the same features of this receiver.

Subject: Amazing new RX?

http://kennedycomposites.com/sombra.html

9g with full length antenna
7 channel FM
digital signal processing
synthesized (through channel programmer)
$80
Programmable failsafe modes
Works with ALL current transmitters in FM mode

Channel programmer is $15, or $10 if bought with an RX.

I must be missing a downside, because I don't see one. How would this
not be great for all of our pattern planes? As I understand it, FM
offers the same control precision as PCM.

Who will be the first to try one in his pattern plane?
