There's an interesting article in yesterdays  paper (Houston Chronicle) 
describing our own Buddy Brammer's landfill flying  site as a first / pilot for an 
agreement reached between AMA and the EPA for  use of landfill / superfund 
sites for model aircraft use. Anyone in need of  a site might check it out at:

No RF present here you just need to check your gear before coming here, but  
we do have light air due to the methane content usually takes a click or two
