Thanks for the info - I knew someone out there knew how to do it.
I've managed to keep mine correct since switching it 3 years ago and
couldn't remember how I did it. I truly remember it coming set up wrong, but
that is not to say it was in the "default" mode.
I see a lot of messages apear at the bottom and have wished I could send the
info out.
Thanks again.

I'm currently not flying due to family & job responsibilities, I hope to get
back in the air sometime this summer. But i still read on the job <G>

Hi, Eddie,
Which version of Outlook are you using?
For Outlook 2000 & 2003, Tools, Options, Preferences, Mail Options, Bottom
half has When replying to a message. Other than the"attach the original
message" all the settings put the text to the top of the message.

I checked Outlook Express 6, pressing the reply put the cursor at the top of
the reply.

So the default is the top of the message.
No idea about other E-mailers.

What are you building nowadays?

Outlook has an option that needs to be set fro your reply to appear at the
top.
I had to make the correction once but for the life of me I can not locate it
now or I'd post the info when I see messages posted incorrectly with the
reply at the bottom. Maybe someone can educate us on the location of the
correction tab.

Eddie

I have it happen frequently Ed. Why I add the klipped in subject header. I
still can't easily determine which is going to be accepted and which isn't.
I also wonder why some chose to add their replies at bottom and majority at
top of replies. Is it a Mac vs. IBM or choice of software issue.. I often
delete messages that appear to have no reply only to find out later their
was a reply buried at other end forgetting to check.
