Fuel/Buy Local

We do a fuel by through our club every year. I support our local hobby
shops but some of them seem to be off their rockers when it comes to price.
YS 20/20 Powermasters $38.00 a gallon, the club gets it up here (Alaska)
$19.48 a gallon. A plane from Horizon Hobby that I can buy on line for say
$175.00 plus $26.00 for second day air is priced over $300.00. I buy the
little things at the hobby shops, but not the big things. I am all for
supporting local business but that doesn't give them a license to rob you.

Just my thoughts. I am a local business man in the mid-west and I have a
problem when people DO NOT support their local hobby shops. Our clubs never
have a problem going to them and asking for there help so why not support
them, yes I know you can save 20/30% but again where will we be without
their help or better yet with out their shops to shop in. ( I AM NOT A HOBBY
SHOP OWNER )
Thanks for letting me have my thoughts vented.
