Yes, it is possible to get the Technician class license with no code, if 
you wish.  Of course, you are more limited in frequencies without CW, 
but it is still possible.  All you need to take is the "Section 2" which 
is the written test.  "Section One" is the code.  But, the only code 
test now given for any of the classes, is at 5 WPM. (Yawn)  which is 
pretty slow.  If you get the chance to listen to an Omnirange identifier 
in code, (which they broadcast over aviation frequencies) you are 
listening at 5  WPM.  All the above is simply my understanding, but, as 
the owner of a shiny new General Class, I believe I'm fairly up to date.
