Variation on...... cataracts and flying pattern...new question

I am 66 and have had a lot of eye problems in the last ten years. I am back 
flying with 20/20 in right 20/30 in left I had problems seeing double and 
could not see distance and so on. I now ware contact lenses (solid) and I 
can realy see the plane real well.
