Electric Weight: with or without batteries at US Nationals

When I flew Tony's ePartner at the Nats last year I flew most of the
level flight maneuvers at 3-4 "clicks" of the throttle ratchet above
idle. It gave me an adequate flight speed for the rolls and kept
things from getting too rushed, especially when the wind was blowing.
The electric setup really doesn't need much energy going into the
vertical maneuvers so there wasn't any downside. The upside was a
very even, constant pace that made it relatively easy to manage the
flow of the sequence. I suspect that the current Masters sequence
will benefit even more from the characteristics displayed by a well
setup and flown electric model.
