Electric Weight: with or without batteries at US Nationals

Richard:  I once asked Tony Frackowiac how he managed the throttle on his PL 
Partner.  He indicated that full throttle was used only for verticals.  In 
horizontal flight, only 1/3 throttle or even less was used.  Like you, I've 
found electrics to be a real "shot in the arm"....a fascinating advance in 
technology that has really increased my motivation.  I've been 
building/flying glow powered models for over 55 years and finally sold all 
of my glow motors/accessories a few years ago to begin the transition to 
electric....and I haven't looked back!!  Hope the Kokams continue to give 
you good service.
