To add to what Troy said,
                                           I think that it is good that many 
eyes get to see the work that has been done. It is good that folks are 
trying them out and giving us feedback. The on-line environment readily 
facilitates this type of process. Please keep in mind that it is work in 
progress.

What I would add as a caution is that what you are seeing is not the final 
survey. When you get the survey you can then use your AMA vote to chose the 
one(s) that you like best.

The teams have worked hard to meet a very tight deadline. They had to start 
work on a project this year that really needed to have been started last 
year, such is the appetite of the AMA rules change process.

Now that we have and AMA 2 year rules change/review cycles this level of 
activity has to become a "rolling" activity. Some of the work being done now 
also feeds the changes 4 years up the road. As much as I would have liked to 
have seen an NSRCA board processed document reach you all, I also feel that 
the feedback being gathered is very valuable.

As long as we don't lose sight of the fact that this is a survey of AMA 
pattern flyers and that there is still a democratic vote process and AMA 
contest board to work through, we should make it.
