Bob, I will look for some info this weekend. They do make more precise aperatures (laser cut) and I need to go back to old stuff when we were looking at ways to narrow the beam. I think the main difference was $$$. Think they came out of UK.

Couldn't figure out an aperture. Needs some sort of optical sharpening of the beam....dunno how to do that.
Any laser-optics-light folks out there with ideas?

Hey Bob, is there a way to narrow the laser line projection with a mask or grid attached near to the laser lens. Leaves a smaller apprature (sp?) for the laser to project thru... I think I saw something like that in an article somewhere.....

One comment, after buying some of the "laser levels" out there....they can
be HUGELY helpful, and I bought two from Wally World (cheapies) to help with
"general" alignment, and they work well.
As long as you have no objection to the 3/32-1/8" wide line that they
project.
If there was a way to make that line THINNER, they would be REALLY cool.
(But they ain't bad as they are, easy to adjust to give 90* lines...handy)
