Charlie one of the things I done before going was to compare to friends at
the field like seeing how far I could read the frequency board compared to
them I was always about 1/2 the distance that they could see, my father and
sister had it done father 5 years ago and let it get so bad he could barely
see sister 2 years ago, my sister said that the following day was fine with
the exception that you have one good eye and one that's still got the old
prescription which you either take one lens out of your glasses or even
ware a patch over the old eye, because they are trying to fight each other
that's why they do the dominate eye first, even at that it's going to be
well worth it to see with out glasses.
