I used Acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby they have two brands here Anitas  craft 
paint and Folk Art they have hundreds of colors including flat and  metallic, 
they are in 2 oz. plastic bottles about eighty cents each, Thin  it as 
necessary and brush it on.
