I remember when the figure 8 we were required to do, had the crossover 
directly over the pilot, standing on the flight line.  Depending on the 
wind, frequently half the maneuver was over the crowd/pits/parking lot, 
etc.  My, my, how we've grown!<G>  Bill Glaze
