A Lighter Moment....LONG

Laughs are free... here's a pattern story...

So picture this. Here's Joe-Bob Redneck Pattern Pilot. A flyable day seems in the works. Sunshine, great weather, spare 12 pack in the cooler, recently-repaired GoFaster190 finally RTF after the last outing. (A different tale, relates to starting engines in the back of the truck)
Joe-Bob gathers everything carefully.... loads the truck, gets all the stuff he needs. Even remembered the TRANSMITTER for this trip!! Things are looking good!!
Joe-Bob's mistress/concubine/other hollers at him as he prepares to leave, "Joe-Bob, you take that &-#($ dawg WITH YOU!!! I'm not putting up with him"
So Joe-Bob, quietly muttering under his breath various compliments about the ancestry of his other, proceeds to find Rowlf, the killer-Rottweiler pup. This pup, known to be a bit unruly, has been actually getting some "training", and seems to be improving. Anyway, Joe-Bob gets Rowlf into the duelly-4x4 with 8 pipes, fires it up, shaking the garage to the foundation. He smiles. This is gonna be a GREAT day!!!
He hits the garage door opener (remember, he's a RedNeck "Pattern" flier, so he has a MUCH higher standard of living), and proceeds to back down the drive.
As the garage door descends, and he turns into the street, he begins to see Rowlf sort of hopping around in the truck bed, barking, jumping up and down. He stops the truck, more worried about the impending damage to the GoFaster 190 than Rowlf, and goes around to the rear of the truck (now cursing openly the ancestry of his significant other AND Rowlf). Screaming, he gets Rowlf somewhat settled, gets back in the truck and heads on his way.
A few blocks further his musings about the upcoming flying and beer are interruptted by loud whelping, barking, howls and thumps coming from the truck bed. Now, Joe-Bob is ready to murder Rowlf, as the delays are jus' gettin' him DOWN.
He goes again to the rear of the truck, and as he's preparing to give Rowlf the serious "what-for", he notices, and it FINALLY dawns on him in a fantastic flash of mental genius....

[Are you ready?]

Rowlf still has his "training collar" on.

And it's the kind that continues shocking until you get back within the training wire boundary.

        Joe-Bob turns it off.

Rowlf assaults Joe-Bob severely mangling his "flying hand".

ANOTHER flying day shot to pieces.

Oh well, he still has the 12 pack.

Ya'll have a great day!
I made this story up from a real-life story about a dog-training incident.
Hope it made SOMEONE smile out there in Pattern-land!!
