Question on Bearing change out

Wayne,
I'm trying the same thing with some Boca bearings this season in an OS 160.
I bought S.S. front and rear bearings with seals (both sides). I left the
seals on thinking that the bearings will just run in the "lifetime
lubricant" (grease) that the bearings have from the factory. I'm hoping that
keeping the fuel out of the bearings might be a good thing. The only thing
I'm concerned about is the amount of drag from the grease. Fuel / oil is
much thinner so it offers less resistance at high RPM. If the motor doesn't
rev up as expected I'll just pull the seals off of the rear bearing, I
guess.
