Mike, you're correct, that is another I was present for. Seems like there
are still others I've forgotten.
BTW, the "fellow from LA" said he had been involved in three (I think) mid
airs at Nederland. I don't think he'll be back.
Revised List (in order):
1. Brian Young & Bobby Zikes - planes totaled - Dallas
2. Lance Van Nostrand & Ron Bar - planes saved - Hot Springs
3. Mark Hunt & David Cotton - planes totaled - Temple (I think)
4. BW Ponder & Sean McClain - planes totaled - NATS
5. Nat Penton & "fellow from LA" - one plane totaled, one moderate damage,
repairable - Nederland, TX
6. Gray Fowler & Paul Villarrubia - planes saved - Dallas
7. Keith Black & Art Wagner - planes totaled - Hot Springs

#7. Mid air in Nederland last year, a fellow from La (sorry can't remember
the name) and I believe Nat Penton hit. Nat's plane was ok but the other a
total.

These come to mind as ones I've witnessed involving D6 pilots since Sept.
2003:
1. Brian Young & Bobby Zikes - planes totaled - Dallas
2. Lance Van Nostrand & Ron Bar - planes saved - Hot Springs
3. Mark Hunt & David Cotton - planes totaled - Temple (I think)
4. BW Ponder & Sean McClain - planes totaled - NATS
5. Gray Fowler & Paul Villarrubia - planes saved - Dallas
6. Keith Black & Art Wagner - planes totaled - Hot Springs
I feel like I'm forgetting at least one, perhaps others will chime in.

While talking pattern the question came up about how many mid air collisions
there were in a season flying pattern.
I thought I would post the question and possibly get an idea of the number
from the your answers.
At the contests that I attended in 2004 I counted four, let me know what
contest you attended that experienced one.

Hey Guys
It seems that the Mid air's reported are happening more to District 6 pilots
and to top flyers at the Nat's. In addressing Bobs P's question does that
equate that Pilots in district-6 are more skilled???
