I didn't have a demographics section on the last survey due to time constraints in personally producing the survey. We had one the time before. We have time to add some this time around.

This is a really good idea. Would you like make up a list of questions and send it to Lamar.

Here is what I added to the 1999 survey and what they said in the past. Pretty interesting don't you think?

  I think it might be very interesting to find/figure out the average cost of planes being flown - not too difficult to put together numbers for the top finishers at the NATs - since the equipment list is published.  I'd be willing to figure that out and share the nubmers.

  Obtaining the same data for regional groups would be tougher - and subject to all the pitfalls of any survey.  Perhaps this is something that could be incorporated with an NSRCA survey?  Or, outside of an NSRCA survey, it could be done through polls, websites, etc.  Certainly a lot of room for errors/inaccuracies depending on what data set was generated and how it was interpreted / presented.
