Composite-ARF Impact question

Wow!! I came home from work to find I had triggered a firestorm. Now
I'm almost ashamed for buying the plane. All I was wanted to know is if
anyone had seen the same thing I did. I ordered the plane because I
thought it would be a quicker build since flying season is coming soon.
Plus I have a 10 month old daughter that is keeping me very busy.

I have an Aeroslave Aries downstairs. In my 18 years in the hobby I have
never built a glass fuse pattern bird before and I would like to take my
time and get it right. I don't have all the proper tools for acurately
building pattern planes (BTW, I prefer to build if time allows). So the
Impact was my ticket to getting in the air and practicing while I
learned the secrets to building pattern planes. Eventually I'd like to
start building from plans. I have the Hebert designed Patriot 3D
plans. I love the look of that plane!! Hopefully I can find more plans
to choose from.

Bill I agree with you. There should be more American made planes out
there flying, but the love of money, and our lazy society dictates
manufacturing relatively cheap, easy, pre-built, ready to fly, perfect
flying, world class pattern planes over seas.

Regards,
Adam Q
