Composite-ARF Impact question

Did you only cut the fin on the flat that will be under the counterbalance or did you go farther forward? I have been trying to figure out how to fix this since I received the plane.

Jim,
I have two Impacts and both had a vertical fin that was not straight. I split the top of the fin and then when I set the tailpost I applied clamps to hold it straight while the epoxy set. Result is a very straight vertical fin and rudder. Larry....
