I've been thinking of doing the same with an EMC2 plastic canopy. Anyone have any experience at this ?? My thought was to close off the plastic canopy and sink it in a box of plaster of paris to make a mold and then lay the glass up inside the plaster mold. Is that doable ?? Any help, suggestions or ideas greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a lot of work Scott. That process is something I've never done before.

Hmm, sounds like a good time to make a plug and mold and make a glass one

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] El Nino canopy
I just came home with my new El Nino Saturday. Today I had the canopy off and was nosing around the inside checking out the setup.
I leaned over the bench and heard a crack, I had just leaned on the canopy and put a 4 inch crack in it, lengthways on the top.
The question I have is, is there a good way to repair it, without using thin CA, because of the fogging that CA will cause?
Or does anybody have a canopy that they would be willing to part with?
TIA,
Ken
