It could be that your newer machine does not have a "3D" video card. I know
that is a problem on a lot of G3 systems. My brand new P4 2.4Ghz would not
run G3 until I put a true 3D card in it.

The only difference for me is that I have put it on a newer computer. My old
computer (PII, 350Mhz) also has the SAME operating system. Hardware is my
ONLY difference. I needed no support for the old computer to run it and the
