Hey I remember one of those also. It was just before I decided to move to
sunny FLA the first time. With fog lifting by 10 AM and some very impressive
flying by Dave Patrick and Chip, it was right there and then I decided to make
Florida home, should the opportunity arise. It did and I did for more than 15
years.
But flying is what you make of it and with friends like Eddie Alt, Joe L,
Dave L. and Dean here in D1 showing me the ropes, it has never been better. I
finally got some flying in a few weeks ago just before the cold weather set in;
just enough to hope for a fine Spring and Summer coming up.
