Hello Earl,
It's nice to be included in such an august list. I notice, though, that your name is the only one that doesn't start with the letter "D".
Can we change that? It's going to be confusing otherwise.
I keep reading about escape routes from the problem, that is: write them out of the schedules, and the like.
My Daddy always used to say that the easy way was almost always the wrong way. Gosh but good lessons are inconvenient.
We shall overcome! Fortunately we all like each other, even when we are butting heads.
Meanwhile, it's time for me to log off the forum for two weeks. Hopefully I won't have problems getting back on. Unless something unforseen happens, I will bring my impressions of the semi-finals and finals at Saint-Yan.
Au revoir,
Dean

Subject: Re: Put equity back into snap judging
OK guys - let me give you my insight with regard to the videos, discussion of same, and issues surrounding flying / judging snaps.
...... . A lot has been written by Don, Dave, Dean, me, and others on how to do the snap as defined in the rules - review this info and apply it to what you see in your videos. ..............
