Looking for light servo extensions: ABBRA

You can buy lighter gauge extensions, but with digital servos and long
runs, that might not be what you want to do as you will get a greater
voltage drop with the lighter wire when your servos are demanding large
amounts of current. Personally, I would look somewhere else to save
weight. I just switched my DuBro light weight 3" wheels for the super
light ones (soft foam) and saved 1oz per wheel. Of course they won't
last as long, but it will help you will make weight. Also, you can run
a smaller battery pack for competition. Last yr at the NATS I switched
out my 1650nimh for a 650nimh and saved 2 oz. I charged for safety
between rounds, but since you usually have some time that's not a big
deal. I'm anxious to get a flight report as soon as it is in the air.
