YS Longevity and Fuel $$$ Part 2

Well, having run YS 4S engines for several years in the 90s I am glad to now
run the OS 160. 10 - 15% fuel from the hobby store at $12 per gallon,
excessive power, use either a 17X12 or 17X13, so much power I need to fly
the stall turns and half square uplines at less then full power. No cams,
valves, pressureized tanks, check valves, push rods, lifters, cam shaft,
bearings, regulator gaskets that swell up, etc. And with the stainless
bearing that is also a non issue. Almost as easy to run as my Ford van. And
$250 from Towers. IMO hard to beat. $40 header, $60 pipe. Personally I do
not need teh carbon pipe to save weight, teh engine is so strong my Focus II
flys effortlessly.
